Ms. Karen Yifen Chang was appointed as a Gogoro board member in May 2025. With extensive experience in the retail and consumer sectors, she brings a wealth of leadership expertise to the board. Ms. Chang was the CEO of Jack Wolfskin Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. from August 2017 to March 2022, after serving as a non-executive director for two years. She also led Natural Beauty Bio-Technology Limited, a skincare company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and held key executive roles at Pou Sheng International, a leading sports retailer in Greater China listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange from October 2007 to December 2015. Prior to her executive roles, Ms. Chang garnered substantial management consultancy and investment banking experience with KPMG in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, as well as Jardine Fleming, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse in Shanghai and Hong Kong from 1992 to 2006. She is also an independent non-executive director at Uni-President China Holdings Ltd. since May 2025. Ms. Chang holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Fu-Jen Catholic University and an MBA from George Washington University.
